If You’ve Got To Go (Unplugged) was released into the atmosphere on Christmas Day 2025. It’s a stripped down version of the same song from my 2024 EP, Never Let Go. This version, like the full band version from the EP, was mixed by Gerry Hansen. The unplugged version features only guitar, cello and vocals and is available on all streaming platforms.
Gerry is also currently working on mixing a dozen or so unreleased songs left off of my 2005 album, Kudzu Animals. I recorded that album (my first solo release) over a ten year period (1994-2004). There was enough material for a double album when Kudzu Animals was released on March 6, 2005, but over a dozen songs weren’t included. A double album, first solo release, seemed a bit excessive back in 2005, which left an abundance of unreleased material from that time period. It’s been exciting listening to these songs that I haven’t heard in over two decades. We’re hoping for a early spring 2026 release. I have tentatively titled this album, Excess Animals.

Never Let Go hit the Universe on Labor Day 2024. It’s a four song EP available on all of the streaming platforms. For a CD, please drop a line and we’ll get one to you. There’s a YouTube video of the title track on my channel for those who seek visual accompaniment with your listening. Thanks to all who have been streaming the new album and watching the videos.

Hello everyone! There’s new music in the works and another book on the horizon. Legendary producer/engineer phenomenon, Rodney Mills, is the chief producer for the new music project which is being recorded at Gerry Hansen’s studio in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Gerry is also the drummer for the project and a major contributor of original ideas and arrangements. Stay tuned for updates.

New book released on April 1, 2019!
Andy Lee White and John M. Williams explore the Atlanta pop music scene from the '50s, '60s & '70s and the tremendous influence of musical business giant, Bill Lowery. Joe South, Billy Joe Royal, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Ray Stevens, Tommy Roe, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special and The Tams are but a few of the celebrated artists included in the book who were part of the most exciting period in southern pop/rock music history. Insight and memories from major behind the scenes figures like Grammy winning, Georgia Music Hall of Fame member, engineer and producer, Rodney Mills, along with Bob "Tub" Langford, engineer for Joe South and Lynyrd Skynyrd's Freebird, help tell previously untold memories from a special time for Atlanta music like none before or since.
